Rebecca began to write songs as a teenager using a guitar. Her style is influenced by an eclectic mix of Jazz, Folk, Hip-hop, traditional Hymns and Gospel.

Rebecca started by playing and singing her original songs on the streets as a way of making money to live off of, as she lived in various cities in her early twenties. This eventually lead to her involvement in local open mic nights and solo gigs.

In 2008 She became a member of a Stockton based hip-hop and funk band who performed regularly in the Central Valley, also performing in the Bay Area and LA.

In 2010 she was featured on a compilation recording for the benefit of the Gospel Center Rescue Mission, Stockton, and later (2013) recorded a solo album Moving Forward. In 2015 Rebecca recorded her first independent album which was released in June entitled ReIdentified.

Rebecca currently resides in Manteca, CA. and is looking forward to the release of her new album Sentiments of the Soul.
